Halcyon Assembly™ vortex inhibitor units & plates are installed onto the suction line of fire pumps within a fire tank to control the turbulence in the flowing water. The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) considers the Halcyon Assembly™ a Standard ancillary for every fire tank whether it is concrete, welded steel, bolted steel, fiberglass, or HDPE. They are engineered and manufactured with proprietary information from Climate LLC under our Climate Tanks™ international brand. They are very effective in controlling the velocity of the fluid thus preventing cavitation to fire pumps, damaging impellers, and collapsing municipal and residential water lines and tanks.
